hey! I’m Cat.
I’m a Chicago bridal makeup artist, Owner/CEO of Feeling Pretty Inc, and your newest beauty BFF. Helping people feel confident and beautiful brings me incredible joy, and it all started when I was drawn to makeup as a kid watching my mom get ready. As I grew up, it didn’t stop. I loved learning about new methods, colors, and techniques. When I found myself working a corporate job in an industry I didn’t find fulfilling, considering my future and my family, I decided that I should be doing something I really loved.
I took a chance to work in the beauty retail space and learn everything I could about the industry. Next thing I knew, I was training with MAC Cosmetics, working and becoming friends with diverse members of the Chicago community, and providing beauty services on the road to other bodybuilding competitors. I was finally doing something I loved and even having fun while doing it!
I decided it was time to take this full-service approach up a notch! Feeling Pretty grew to offer makeup, hair, and tanning to all, and to include several talented artists from across the Chicago area.
The Feeling Pretty team believes in infusing our glam sessions with super fun energy, good vibes, and some celebration. We're here to be your hype squad, bring your vision to life, and showcase your authentic beauty. We love serving brides, being a part of the party, getting everyone dolled up, and hanging out together.
